Demonstrate expertise in planning Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management projects using computer-based planning and scheduling techniques.

Serve as the focal point for recommending training and development requirements for subordinate planning personnel.

Demonstrate skill in Primavera Project Planning software.

Develop resource-loaded schedules.

Coordinate with purchasers concerning critical supply items.

Provide and communicate critical path analysis and delay analysis.

Identify and communicate design and scope changes, potential impacts, and participate in mitigation planning.

Participate in cash flow forecasts.

Build strong, positive relationships by providing recent information to facilitate decision-making.

Implement modifications to provide cost-effective planning services within budget constraints.

Ensure quality assurance by working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Business Unit.

Demonstrate major project planning skills.

Communicate effectively with others (verbally, written, meetings).

Apply Critical Path Method planning techniques for detailed engineering and installation project networks and schedules.

Apply Earned Value Management techniques to measure, monitor, and report performance.

Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) approach.

Negotiate, mediate, delegate, lead a team, or participate as a team member.

Supervise personal safety practices and follow OH&S procedures.

Apply HSE procedures to ensure safety of self and others.

Apply procedures from the Quality Management System.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Experience with computer-based Project Management Planning, especially Primavera P3/P6 or equivalent.
  • Project/Schedule setup in P6/Cloud.
  • Experience with large global projects involving multiple interfaces and stakeholders.
