Room Maintenance Associate

The role of a Room Maintenance Associate revolves around ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms. To accomplish this, one must maintain attention to detail and exhibit strong organizational skills.

  • Clean and service guest rooms on a daily basis while adhering to hotel standards.
  • Prepare beds, replace linens, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, and replenish amenities as needed.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or room damage to the supervisor promptly.
  • Verify that all rooms meet the required cleanliness standards before guest check-in.
  • Restock housekeeping trolleys with essential supplies, including linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials.
  • Handle guest belongings with care and respect guests' privacy at all times.
  • Respond to guest requests and queries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Comply with established health, hygiene, and safety protocols.

This position demands exceptional time-management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Prior housekeeping experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications And Skills Required
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
  • Excellent physical fitness level, enabling the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of English language.
  • High level of attentiveness and excellent time-management skills.
