Cost Manager Project Controls Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee the financial performance of complex projects.

This role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage and mentor teams while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Develop, manage, and control project budgets ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Forecasting: Lead forecasting efforts including Value of Work Done (VOWD), cost-to-complete (CTC), and cost-at-completion (CAC) analysis.
  • Cash Flow Management: Track and manage cash flow, invoicing, and cost commitments ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Change Management: Implement change management procedures to evaluate cost impacts of project variations.
  • Performance Measurement: Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track project progress and performance.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team providing training and development opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative working environment across disciplines ensuring alignment on cost and financial objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in cost management processes and tools.
Commercial and Profitability Management:
  • P&L Accountability: Support profit and loss accountability ensuring commercial viability of projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to provide financial risk assessments and strategic cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies contractual terms and industry best practices.
