Senior Open Source Software Developer

We're seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact in the field of open-source software development.
- This role entails leading the design and architecture of impactful open-source projects, collaborating with a globally distributed team, mentoring and advising colleagues, and contributing to technical documentation.
- You'll have the chance to work on complex but highly rewarding projects, from kernel and system software to major language runtimes and cloud automation.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate technical leadership, team motivation, direction, and pace. You should have a strong academic track record, undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, and deep experience with at least one of Go, Rust, Python, or C.
Required SkillsTechnical Leadership: Proven ability to lead design and architecture of impactful open-source projects, drive technical decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
Collaboration: Strong skills in collaborating with globally distributed teams, communicating effectively, and building strong relationships.
Problem-Solving: Ability to debug complex issues, produce high-quality code, and optimize performance.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to create clear, concise documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
