We are seeking a highly skilled Purchaser cum Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in the real estate and construction industry, with expertise in purchasing, vendor management, financial reconciliation, and accounting software like Tally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services that meet our quality and budgetary requirements. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality assurance, while maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts.">
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors.">
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial transactions.">
  • Handle vendor registration, quotations, and purchase orders.">
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and services.">
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate better terms.">

Bank Reconciliation & Financial Transactions

">
  • ">
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.">
  • Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies.">
  • Process employee reimbursements and petty cash transactions.">
  • Assist in monthly and annual financial closing reports.">
  • Prepare profit and loss statements, expense reports, and other financial documents.">
  • Analyze costs and suggest areas for improvement.">

Taxation & Compliance

">
  • ">
  • Assist in VAT filing, tax calculations, and compliance with financial regulations.">
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records for audits.">

Tally & Accounting Software Management

">
  • ">
  • Record financial transactions in Tally or other ERP systems.">
  • Ensure proper categorization of expenses and revenue.">
  • Generate reports and assist in financial forecasting.">

Purchasing

">
  • ">
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, and other relevant factors.">
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.">
  • Monitor inventory levels and determine purchasing needs in collaboration with inventory and warehouse staff.">
  • Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.">
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.">
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.">

Requirements & Skills:

  • Experience: 2 plus years in accounting, preferably in real estate or construction.">
  • Software Proficiency: Tally, ERP systems, Excel.">
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills for reconciliation and financial accuracy.">
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.">
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.">
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with real estate and construction cost structures.">
  • Communication: Ability to coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.">
