Job Title: Operations Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Engineering Manager to oversee departmental operations, ensure functionality and safety of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems. This role plays a key part in shift leadership and cross-departmental coordination, ensuring seamless service delivery and high maintenance standards throughout the resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build teamwork and enhance the team's commitment to their work and the hotel.
  • Understand and embody the hotel's vision and brand personality in your daily work practices.
  • Train team members according to hotel standards.
  • Recognize outstanding performance and address substandard performance fairly and promptly.
  • Schedule employees based on business needs.
  • Participate in departmental and hotel problem-solving meetings.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Keep your supervisor informed of relevant matters.
  • Maintain a professional appearance according to grooming standards.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet business needs.
  • Support and assist guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a tidy and well-kept work environment, including the Green Globe program.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Understand emergency procedures.
  • Comply with the Employee Handbook standards.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors.
Technical Expertise:
  • Distribute work orders and ensure proficiency of staff.
  • Inspect equipment and systems regularly.
  • Handle abnormalities or breakdowns appropriately.
  • Monitor utility consumption and assist in efficiency.
  • Train staff on equipment operation and safety.
Environment Sustainability Responsibilities:
  • Follow health, safety, and security policies.
  • Support environmentally friendly operations.
  • Implement Earth Check principles within scope.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate in Engineering (electronic, electrical, or mechanical).
  • 4-5 years of hotel engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BMS platforms.
  • Willingness to work shifts and extended hours.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Service-oriented mindset aligned with Hyatt's standards.
