IT Coordinator Job Description

As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all computer hardware and software systems. Your primary goal is to provide excellent technical support to guests and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Hardware Management: Manage and monitor the operation of all computer hardware, ensuring all systems are working and installed properly.
  2. System Updates: Keep informed of IHG-approved systems and technology that may improve hotel efficiency.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Monitor software performance and maintain a logbook of performance reports.
  4. Data Security: Maintain data and physical security standards.
What We Need from You:
  • Investigate and report software problems to the Technology Manager.
  • Understand all standard and customized features and functions of the Hotel front office system, point of sale system, and call accounting system, including system security, reports, manager functions, utilities, and user functions.
  • Be aware of disaster recovery procedures for inoperable hotel computer systems.
