About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to fill a full-time specialist position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic surgery, delivering high-quality medical care to patients. This is a permanent position with excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, perform surgical procedures as needed, including joint replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, and fracture repair.
  • Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Consultations: Conduct consultations with patients to discuss treatment plans and provide guidance on post-operative care.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients, including medication, physical therapy, and other interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements and techniques in orthopedic surgery, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to policy development.
  • Maintenance of Medical Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and residents.
  • Ethics and Standards: Adhere to medical and ethical standards set by regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • A medical degree from an accredited university.
  • Completion of a residency program in orthopedic surgery.
  • Board certification in orthopedic surgery.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant/Specialist in orthopedic surgery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • A valid medical license to practice in the country.
