Job Title: Onsite Service Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Onsite Service Operations Specialist. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and restoring services related to assigned projects.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting application, system, and network issues related to our services.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them within service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work on standby outside of standard hours to address system outages or degradation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to evaluate and resolve technical problems, minimizing customer impact during outages.
  • Follow established escalation procedures for unresolved issues.
  • Act as a local Single-Point-of-Contact for Service Operations-related matters.
  • Participate in technical meetings as required.
  • Log and update technical tickets properly.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.
  • Proactively seek process improvements.

This role requires strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a results-driven attitude.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/Postgres, Linux, and Networking.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand complex systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Atlassian tools.
