About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and restoring services related to assigned projects.

This is a technical role requiring a self-motivated engineer with broad technical experience, effective communication skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues. Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical escalation point for troubleshooting application, system, and network issues related to provided services.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them within service level targets.
  • Work on standby outside of standard hours to address system outages or degradation.
  • Collaborate with customer and internal technical teams to evaluate and resolve technical problems.
  • Log and update technical tickets properly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/Postgres, Linux, and Networking.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
