Job Title: Stewarding Supervisor

 

Hotel Muscat Al Mouj is seeking a reliable and hands-on Stewarding Supervisor to support and supervise the stewarding team. The Stewarding Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in all kitchen and food preparation areas, ensuring that sanitation and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily activities of stewarding staff, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, dishware, cookware, and equipment.

  • Assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure high standards of cleanliness and productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP).

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and back-of-house areas, including storage rooms, garbage areas, and loading docks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2–3 years of experience in stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen sanitation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety procedures.
