Project Director - Water Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project director with a strong background in water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate people, processes, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and supervise projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
  • Coordinate resources and tasks towards timely and optimal execution of projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, set deadlines, and evaluate performance to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the project team and senior management, providing regular updates and escalating issues as needed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to minimize project disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed-upon scope.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a reputable university.
  • 15+ years in project management, with a focus on water and wastewater network and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Dynamic personality with a can-do attitude.
  • Assumes ownership of responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software.
