The role of a Commercial Manager in Facility Management is a critical position within our organisation, requiring strong commercial and contractual expertise.

This individual will report directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for overseeing various commercial and contractual aspects of FM services.

Main responsibilities include leading the commercial and contractual elements of facility management services.

Precise and timely preparation and issuance of contract correspondence are crucial in maintaining strong relationships with clients.

A thorough approach to preparing, monitoring, and updating variation schedules ensures that any changes or deviations from original contracts are accurately documented.

An essential part of this role involves creating and reviewing orders of costs to ensure transparency and compliance.

Maintaining accurate records of materials on site through assessments and reconciliation is vital for efficient financial management.

Effective financial reporting requires careful analysis and presentation of data.

Regular liaison with consulting engineers and employer's representatives is necessary for resolving any technical or contractual issues.

Reviewing contractor's cost proposals helps identify areas for cost savings and optimization.

Agreeing on re-measurement methods ensures accurate assessment of work completed.

Payment recommendations for monthly statements and valuations must be made after thorough review and verification.

About the Position

Candidates who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • No less than 5 years' experience in facility management.
  • A BSc or HNC qualification or higher in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience in the GCC or internationally in a similar capacity is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage teams and employees.
