This is a leadership role that involves overseeing maintenance operations in the field. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and assign tasks for roving personnel based on field operations and maintenance projects requirements.
  • Promote deficiency reports, investigate equipment/material deficiencies, and coordinate with supervisors.
  • Review maintenance reports, highlighting major issues to the attention of management.
  • Distribute alerts, guidelines, and publish OEM material on systems.
  • Coordinate hardware audits covering PDO owned rigs and hoists, assemble resources, and maintain posting of hardware audit reports.
  • Participate in QHSE audits, visit operating units, and improve communication between units and the maintenance team.
  • Support maintenance training by reviewing technical courses, evaluating relevance, and selecting new courses upon request.
  • Maintain inventory of spare assets and equipment stored in yards, sharing it with management.
  • Assist procurement engineers in determining proper stock levels and recommending optimum stock levels.
  • Recommend equipment specifications for purchase, transfer, retirement, spare asset, and annual capital purchases.
  • Observe rig operating procedures, noting unsafe practices.
  • Participate in QHSE meetings, toolbox meetings, and company safety management systems.
  • Familiar with Management of Change Requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for practical training of new team members with respect to HSE.
  • Ensure dissemination of company information applicable to staff is communicated in TBTs.
  • Oversee troubleshooting efforts on rig and hoist sides during shut-down situations.
  • Follow up on major equipment overhauls in the field or OEM workshops.
  • Provide support to rigs and hoists to ensure calibration and testing of safety equipment by third parties are carried out as per schedules.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Rig/Hoist equipment with a minimum of 5 years as Preventive Maintenance Supervisor (PMS).

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering maintenance services that meet or exceed operational requirements.
