We are seeking a skilled professional to support our engineering team as an Electrical and Mechanical Technician.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel's electrical and mechanical systems, including equipment such as laundry and kitchen machines, HVAC systems, and emergency generators.

The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and experience working with hand and power tools. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to performing routine maintenance and repairs, the technician will also be responsible for attending to guest maintenance requests, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and observing safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various electrical and mechanical equipment.
  2. Attend to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt.
  3. Maintain a clean and tidy appearance, ensuring uniform is clean and in good repair before entering guest or public areas.
  4. Keep plant rooms, workshops, and related areas clean and organized.
  5. Observe safety standards and help maintain safe working conditions for self and others.
Requirements:
  • An Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
