Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Middle East and North Africa hub.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will have experience in portfolio management, software procurement, contract management, configuration and development cycles for Power BI, GIS and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • They will oversee digital team performance and provide training to become self-sufficient in digital delivery across all seven future cities.
  • Key responsibilities include managing resources to ensure they meet project goals, communicating effectively with clients, colleagues and stakeholders, conducting interviews to assess skills and experience of potential candidates for BIM roles.
  • Additional duties include developing a BIM Execution Plan (BEP), developing the client's digital handover strategy, ensuring security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing information on all projects.
  • The ideal candidate will also be responsible for implementing governance and assurance processes, monitoring digital handover to completion, participating in industry events to stay up-to-date on the latest BIM developments.
  • Responsibilities also include producing Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, and EIR) as per ISO 19650, producing information standards, methods, and procedures, and shared resources, raising job requisitions to identify and recruit new talent for the BIM team, researching compliance with new regulations and governance.
  • Other key responsibilities include being responsible for object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy, responsible for Assurance and Checking of the Information Model, responsible for Production of the Information Model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only).
  • Additional tasks include reviewing current technology solutions and research new solutions to improve the BIM process, including emerging technologies, supporting construction sequencing strategy using information models, supporting Mace Cost team in preparation of cost plans from information models.
  • Key Skills:
    • Advanced understanding of Content Management Library Systems, Autodesk Desktop Products, Autodesk Cloud Products, Validation and Verification Tools, Visualisation Tools, Databases.
