Credit Card Portfolio Strategist

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to develop and implement effective strategies that drive business growth and optimize performance drivers at the portfolio level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage card customer lifecycle and ensure balanced growth addressing Credit, Operations, Compliance, and Service Delivery risks.
  • Design and develop best-in-class portfolio programs based on local needs and collaborate with the central team to create scalable solutions.
  • Lead the delivery of regulatory changes in a timely manner with seamless client experience and cost-effective implementation.
  • Support the development of strategies to grow the credit card portfolio in line with business targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement and balance build, including end-to-end management of campaigns across channels.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for credit card installment plans, aiming to optimize revenues.
  • Work with the Marketing and Analytics team to promote credit card usage among existing customers through targeted customer segmentation.
  • Help retain profitable customers by collaborating with relevant teams on robust customer retention strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify improvement opportunities for client engagement through tactical campaigns and industry trends.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the credit card portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and mitigating headwinds.
  • Regularly assess portfolio performance, analyzing usage patterns, profitability, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to optimize the customer journey for a better customer experience.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach by identifying pain points and implementing initiatives to enhance customer engagement and loyalty throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Engage stakeholders for effective governance and robust controls around portfolio programs and processes.
  • Evaluate and refine KPIs and performance dashboards to support senior management in decision-making.
Performance Metrics:
  • Increase in card activation rates.
  • Growth in card spend (domestic and international).
  • Effectiveness of promotional campaigns in increasing card utilization.
  • Development of new beneficial partnerships.
