Procurement Manager

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing activities, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure timely supply of goods and services at optimal costs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Procurement Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, extensive knowledge of local/GCC markets, and experience in managing procurement cycles from requisition to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and GCC regulations.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Manage supplier contracts, agreements, and records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet operational requirements and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, vendor databases, and pricing comparisons to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing, and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in Oman or any other GCC country, preferably within a construction, trading, or industrial supplies company.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCC market, suppliers, and procurement regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Working Conditions

Location: Muscat, Oman.

Employment Type: Full-time Onsite.

Salary Package: Competitive and negotiable.

Working Days: Saturday to Thursday.

Working Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM.
