Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Currency Trading Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Foreign Exchange and Money Market Desk operations, including overseeing customer and interbank FX cover transactions, managing nostro account liquidity, and ensuring alignment with market risk and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities include authorizing special FX rates for branches and customers, adhering to dealing policies and market risk mandates, executing foreign exchange cover transactions for business reported by branches and the Corporate Sales Desk, and assisting the Treasury Sales Desk in engaging with customers to understand and fulfill their FX and treasury requirements.

Excellent numerical skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and excellent reporting skills are essential for this role. Good customer skills, good office technology skills, and excellent analysis skills are also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Authorize special FX rates for branches and customers, adhering to dealing policies and market risk mandates.
  • Execute foreign exchange cover transactions for business reported by branches and the Corporate Sales Desk.
  • Assist the Treasury Sales Desk in engaging with customers to understand and fulfill their FX and treasury requirements.
