About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing Foreign Exchange and Money Market Desk operations.

The successful candidate will oversee customer and interbank FX cover transactions, manage nostro account liquidity, and ensure alignment with market risk and regulatory frameworks. They will also authorize special FX rates for branches and customers, adhering to dealing policies and market risk mandates.

Responsibilities include executing foreign exchange cover transactions for business reported by branches and the Corporate Sales Desk, assisting the Treasury Sales Desk in engaging with customers to understand and fulfill their FX and treasury requirements, and managing multiple nostro accounts, placements, and fund transfers to ensure efficient liquidity deployment.

Requirements:
  • A Degree in Banking or Finance or an appropriate subject with mathematical aptitude is required.
  • Formal training in a major dealing room is essential.
  • At least 7-8 years in a dealing environment with a range of experiences and a proven ability to work under pressure while giving attention to detail.
