Job Overview: Oman Air seeks a skilled Financial Strategist to develop accurate financial planning and budgets, monitoring spending while optimizing costs. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive financial analysis, supporting annual budgeting processes, and assessing budget plans to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  2. Collaborate with departments to understand their budget needs and ensure forecasting accuracy.
  3. Conduct market analysis to align department budgets with best practices.
  4. Assess budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.
  5. Develop and monitor annual, quarterly, and monthly projections.
  6. Report on root profitability on a monthly basis.
  7. Monitor key financial metrics and operational KPIs.
  8. Address departmental financial needs and issues.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Diploma holders with 4 years of experience in a similar role may also apply.

Skills & Competencies:

  1. A proactive character with strong ownership sense.
  2. Deep business knowledge and strategic thinking.
  3. Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  4. Dynamic leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (preferred).
