Purchasing and Procurement Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our commercial team as a Purchasing and Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing effective purchasing and procurement strategies to support our retail operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To coordinate with buyers and support purchasing activities.
  2. To research and identify new products that meet company goals and objectives.
  3. To source high-quality products at competitive prices that align with organizational objectives.
  4. To develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure profitable deals with suppliers.
  5. To develop reports on key metrics to reduce expenses and enhance efficiency.
  6. To identify reputable vendors and suppliers to foster future partnerships and collaborations.
  7. To communicate with stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations for sourcing and procurement activities.
  8. To ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to quality assurance of sourced items.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in retail.
  3. Mandatory experience handling Light Household products (home appliances, homeware).
  4. Proficiency in English.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
