Quality Control Specialist - Feed Manufacturing

Job Description:As a Quality Control Specialist in our feed manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished feeds. This involves performing sampling, inspection, and laboratory analysis to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 22001, 45001, 14001, and 17025 standards.
You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Integrated Management System (IMS) as per various ISO standards. This includes preparing and updating standard operating procedures, manuals, and IMS documentation.
In addition, you will oversee the calibration, maintenance, and servicing schedules for laboratory equipment and monitor inventory levels of chemicals, consumables, and laboratory supplies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Cereals and Grain Science, Animal Nutrition, Fisheries Sciences, or a closely related field. You should also have at least 3-5 years of experience in quality control of feed and raw materials.
You should have strong knowledge of laboratory techniques for feed and raw material testing, as well as documentation, implementation, and audit skills as per ISO 9001, ISO 22001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BAP, GMP, and FAMI-QS.
Able to work in a team environment, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, data analysis, interpretation, and report writing skills are essential.
