Responsibilities
  • Provide input into reports to the Project Director about quality and operational readiness.
  • Conduct independent reviews and provide quality control feedback on services such as testing, inspection, and certification during the life cycle of a Rail Project Execution.
  • Ensure that the project outputs meet the specified quality standards.
  • Identify and rectify any deficiencies or deviations from the standards, ensuring that the project meets the desired quality levels.
  • Implement processes and systems to prevent defects and ensure that the project is planned, designed, and executed in a manner that meets the required quality standards.
  • Set up quality management systems, conduct audits, and establish quality metrics and benchmarks.
  • Provide confidence to customers that the project is being managed effectively and that quality requirements are being met.
  • Validate and verify the performance, functionality, and safety of various systems and components against the defined requirements and meet the specified quality standards.
  • Identify and rectify any deviations, non-compliance, or substandard work, ensuring that the project is built according to the approved plans and meets the required standards.
  • Provide independent verification and assurance that the rail project complies with applicable regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements.
  • Undertake review and acceptance of quality-related documents and processes including project-specific quality management plans, non-conformance and corrective action processes, quality audit programs, hold point and witness point release processes, and reporting metrics.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and third parties associated with quality-related activities.
  • Contribute to project and program safety requirements and initiatives, and act in a safe manner befitting the safety requirements and culture.
  • Undertake site inspections and liaise with consultants and engineers.
Skills
  • 10+ Years of Experience in Railway domain on the signaling / Telecommunications area.
  • Proficient in drafting policies, project reports, etc.
