**Job Title:**

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for ensuring the highest level of quality in all aspects of maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to guest and staff requests, and maintaining equipment records. Additionally, they will be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks on hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Guest and Staff Support: Respond to guest and staff requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Energy Conservation and Sustainability: Assist in energy conservation efforts and hotel sustainability initiatives.
  • Logistics and Records: Log work orders and maintain equipment records.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and IHG brand standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or building maintenance environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge in one or more areas: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, or HVAC.
  • Safety and Tools: Basic understanding of safety practices and tools usage.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Teamwork: Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mindset.
  • Vocational Training: Vocational training or technical certification is a plus.
