Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining high standards of safety and comfort for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and/or construction, with specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.

They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers to achieve goals and objectives.

In addition, the candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainability and environmental initiatives, with the ability to implement and maintain green practices within the hotel.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Some college or advanced vocational training
  • Four years' experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields
  • Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Professional certification and license if required by law
