Job Title: Telecommunications Engineer Level II

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality telecommunication engineering services, including design basis and specifications for various systems.
  • Produce detailed calculations, such as radio coverage and Fresnel zone calculations, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Carry out fiber optic link budget calculations, data and telephony traffic analysis, and capacity/bandwidth calculations.
  • Provide input to engineering drawings, including device location plans, cable routing layouts, and instrument/device installation details.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and review deliverables to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct onshore and offshore site surveys as required.
  • Attend interface meetings with clients and vendors to progress design scopes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in detailed engineering and design of telecommunications works for oil & gas projects.
  • Fully familiar with relevant international codes, standards, and recommended practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Applicants should have experience working on multi-disciplinary projects, including concept, FEED, and detail engineering of telecommunication systems. Experience in the Middle East region, particularly with national oil companies, is highly desirable.
