Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our team. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering deliverables including Design Basis, Specifications for various Telecommunication Systems, System Block Diagrams, Datasheets, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Telecommunication Engineering Deliverables: You will prepare comprehensive design documents including Design Basis, Specifications, and System Block Diagrams.
  • Radio Coverage Calculations and Antennae Height Estimation: You will perform radio coverage calculations and estimate antennae height using industry-standard methods and tools.
  • Fiber Optic Link Budget Calculations and Data Traffic Analysis: You will calculate fiber optic link budgets and analyze data traffic to ensure seamless communication.
  • Telecom Equipment Power Consumption and Heat Load Calculations: You will calculate telecom equipment power consumption and heat load to ensure efficient operation.
  • Engineering Input to Drawings: You will provide engineering input to drawings including device location plans, cable routing layouts, and instrument/device installation details.
  • Discipline Coordination and Review: You will coordinate with other disciplines and review their deliverables to ensure consistency.
  • Onshore and Offshore Site Surveys: You will conduct onshore and offshore site surveys as required.
  • Client and Vendor Interface: You will attend interface meetings with clients and vendors to progress design scopes.
  • Technical Bid Evaluation Reports: You will review technical bids and produce evaluation reports.

The successful candidate will have experience in detailed engineering and design of Telecommunications works for Oil & Gas projects, be familiar with relevant international codes, standards, and recommended practices, and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
