Exhibition Sales Professional

Description:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales Manager in the exhibition industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing sponsorship and revenue for a client based in Oman.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and creative skills, with the ability to deliver against multiple projects throughout the year successfully. You will be responsible for executing B2B sponsorship and sales campaigns, conducting market research to understand vendor and client relationships, and identifying industry trends.

You will also be responsible for business development, consulting with new and existing clients to identify needs and build demand, as well as developing specified sales plans and coordinating ongoing sales initiatives.

This role requires a commercially astute individual who can keep updated with current industry trends and developments. The ideal candidate will have +3 years of experience in B2B commercial sales, technical experience with contract management, budget management, and proposal writing, and excellent verbal and written English skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specified sales plans while coordinating ongoing sales initiatives (online and offline)
  • Collaborate internally to ensure accurate targeting of potential customers and clients
  • Take full ownership of allocated clients, revenue targets, new business development and reporting
  • Conduct market research to understand vendor and client relationships relevant to target markets
Requirements:
  • Commercially astute individual with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
  • +3 years of experience in B2B commercial sales
