Job Title: Sales Executive - Exhibition

Role Purpose:

To assist the Sales Manager of Exhibitions in generating profitable international, regional and local exhibition sales for the Centre. This includes providing administrative support to the Sales Exhibition team and assisting with client quotations and proposals.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate OCEC attendance at local, regional and international meetings, tradeshows and conferences.
  • Maintain and update EBMS following OCEC sales visits, trade shows and meetings and when required.
  • Process and activate exhibition enquiries.
  • Assist with client quotations, general proposals and assist in Hiring Agreement documents.
  • Develop close relationships with organizers and potential clients of the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre locally, regionally and internationally.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English language.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft computer packages.
  • Accurate and effective work practices.
  • Knowledge of data base management.
  • Understanding and delivery of telemarketing activities.
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. They must also have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
