Job Overview:

The IT Server Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure. This includes managing and maintaining Linux and Windows servers, email systems, backup solutions, VMware environments, and SAN/NAS storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT server administration, with experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux and Windows servers, as well as managing user accounts, permissions, and system policies.

Key Accountabilities:

* Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers to ensure availability and stability.
* Monitor and maintain email systems (Exchange Server).
* Manage Datacenter switches and SAN switches.
* Perform routine backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
* Manage and troubleshoot VMware virtualization environments.
* Maintain and monitor SAN and NAS storage like Netapp and oceanstor systems.
* Ensure system security through hardened OS, update, and upgrade.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure projects and improvements.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like PowerShell, Python, or Ansible to streamline repetitive tasks.
* Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements forecast system capacity requirements to handle future growth and demand.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations through regular audits and assessments.
* Coordinate with hardware and software vendors for procurement, support, and maintenance.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
* 2-3 years of experience in a similar IT role.
* Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/OpenSuse/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
* Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Exchange email systems.
* Knowledge of backup tools and disaster recovery practices.
* Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter.
* Familiarity with SAN and NAS storage technologies.
