Drilling Supervisor - Oil and Gas

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Supervisor to join our team in Oman. The successful candidate will have a strong background in drilling operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective HSE policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
  2. Collaborate with drilling engineers to review and develop drilling plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as required.
  3. Lead and manage contractor teams on site, exercising financial authority and ensuring logistical planning is thorough.
  4. Participate in incident investigations, contributing to the development of corrective actions and recommendations.
  5. Maintain accurate records of drilling operations, providing regular updates and reports as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  2. Understanding of fluid dynamics and drilling principles.
  3. At least 5 years' experience in drilling operations, including at least 2 years as a Drilling Site Supervisor.
  4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  5. Fluent written and spoken English.
  6. Well Control Certificate.
