As a Cafe Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our cafe.

This includes staff scheduling, training, supply ordering, financial monitoring, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. You will nurture customer relationships, resolve issues, and aim to create a popular and reputable local cafe that aligns with our hotel brand's ethos.

A typical day involves:

  1. Managing daily cafe operations
  2. Training staff on drinks preparation and coffee equipment use
  3. Coordinating with vendors and ordering supplies
  4. Maintaining revenue and expense records
  5. Introducing new menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences
  6. Creating a positive image through interactions
  7. Adhering to hotel brand standards
  8. Maintaining product and service knowledge to assist guests
  9. Resolving customer issues effectively
  10. Ensuring cleanliness of cafe areas
  11. Fostering customer loyalty and reputation
  12. Complying with hotel rules, grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards
  13. Using and cleaning barista equipment per manufacturer guidelines
Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Barista Manager in a 4-5 star hotel
  • Fluent in English (spoken, reading, writing); Arabic is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Micros operating systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
