About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Marketing professional to join the pre-opening and Sales & Marketing department at Jumeirah Muscat Bay Resort.

The successful candidate will develop and implement the annual marketing plan, working closely with Sales, Revenue, Operations and Dubai Holding Marketing.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing, with experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and driving results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the annual marketing strategy, aligning closely with the annual Sales and Revenue strategies.
  • Managing the marketing budget and driving results through effective campaign planning and execution.
  • Developing and managing Jumeirah Muscat Bay's visual standards, ensuring consistency across all communication pieces.
  • Leading the development and implementation of brands, visual standards guidelines and marketing plans for new products/service launches.
  • Managing the annual local and international PR plan, ensuring effective representation of Jumeirah Muscat Bay.
  • Developing and implementing a crisis communication strategy as needed.
  • Overseeing PR implementation by the Corporate Communications Team.
  • Management of PR interviews, hosted stays and entertainment in support of Group PR.
  • Ensuring that Group PR has the tools and information needed to effectively represent Jumeirah Muscat Bay.
  • Developing and managing an annual advertising plan, overseeing advertising implementation and recording by the Marketing Team.
  • Reviewing and responding to ad hoc advertising requests.
  • Overseeing campaign plan development, execution and management.
  • Overseeing operational collateral development by the Marketing team.
  • Developing and managing an annual events plan, overseeing event participation in instances where the Marketing team is tasked with event management.
  • Developing an online plan for positioning on the internet, overseeing online channel management by the Marketing Team.
  • Assessing and continuously adapting the digital marketing activities.
  • Driving and optimizing digital demand generation campaigns.
  • Planning and managing budgets to achieve desired KPIs across all channels.
  • Developing and implementing an annual plan utilizing all available channels.
  • Developing and implementing a Partnership marketing plan.
  • Overseeing ad hoc partnership marketing requests.
  • Developing and implementing an annual sponsorship plan.
  • Reviewing and responding to ad hoc sponsorship requests.
  • Conducting and acting on next steps for quarterly reviews.
  • Conducting and acting on next steps for annual appraisals.
  • Developing annual training, development and career progression plans.
  • Brainstorming new ideas for planned marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Facilitating idea generation for Voices that can be implemented across Operations.
  • Conducting weekly marketing status meetings to understand the progress of jobs on file.
  • Ensuring order processes are followed and systems are kept clean and up to date.
  • Representing the hotel as Duty Manager approximately once per month.
  • Maintaining positive and constructive working relations with Jumeirah Muscat Bay Operations, Dubai Holding Marketing functions and fellow SBU Marketing Communications Managers.
  • Providing support to Dubai Holding Marketing, Operations and Sales where needed.
  • Representing Jumeirah Muscat Bay at monthly Dubai Holding Marketing Communications meeting.
