Our client is a leading global FMCG company in the food & beverages category, responsible for sales and marketing their own branded products in all channels across the MENA & Levant regions.

Due to aggressive growth in the region they are now looking to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager to develop winning strategies at point of purchase across channels and regions via effective trade spend management.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  1. Design and deliver all local trade activities to enhance business
  2. Work in close coordination with Marketing to localize central activities with specific requirements for Oman
  3. Work in close coordination with General & Modern Trade managers to enable channel specific planning and trade spending with maximum ROI
  4. Work with the aid of sales development to produce locally relevant POS material to enable effective in-store communication
  5. Work with Market Manager, NSM, Modern & General Trade Managers to design and monitor the route to market strategy with trade marketing support plans by channel to enable the strategy elements
  6. Analyze customer specific sales data to gain insights into customer performance
  7. Work closely with top customer sales team & modern trade manager to design customer specific plans based on the customer insights
  8. Release customer insight updates based on monthly AC Nielsen retail audit
  9. Work closely with Market Manager on trade spend planning and tracking
  10. Plan and evaluate all trade marketing activities to deliver maximum ROI
  11. Allocate trade marketing budget to provide effective tactical support to sales teams throughout the year
  12. Keep abreast of latest customer and market trends
  13. Work with regional supervisors to provide customer education to sales teams
  14. Design & update regular retail shelf planograms as per local needs
  15. Develop brand plans in line with overall activity calendar to support requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  1. University degree in Business administration or respective studies
  2. 3 to 5 years Trade Marketing experience in an FMCG MNC
  3. Track record in developing & executing category strategy
  4. Experience in Managing trade budgets
  5. Strong analytical thinking
  6. Team player & demonstrate leadership
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
  8. Skilled in Word, Excel and Power Point
  9. Well-structured, focused & setting clear priorities
  10. Ability to think strategically and creatively
