We are seeking an experienced Planning Professional to lead and execute the development of long-term planning strategies for our client. The ideal candidate will provide guidance, leadership and strategic decision-making while consolidating budgets, KPIs and annual plans for all clients' portfolios.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing connection studies and network development plans from a planning perspective, monitoring gas infrastructure projects, and providing guidance and direction to the LT Planning team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing long-term planning strategies, including pricing analysis and sector studies
  • Leading and executing gas sector strategic studies, including infrastructure planning
  • Providing guidance on budget consolidation, KPI tracking and annual planning cycles

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 12+ years of relevant experience within the energy sector and a Master's degree in engineering, economics or business. A project management certificate is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities also include assessing available supply through historical supply evolution evaluation by producer/site and collecting assumptions on future supply, conducting S/D balance and sensitivity scenarios by comparing available local supply against expected demand and performing sensitivity analyses on scenarios/assumptions.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (required)
  • Master's degree in engineering, economics or business (preferred)
  • 12+ years of relevant experience within the energy sector
  • Project Management certificate (desired)
