Safety and Risk Professional

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the safety and risk management functions within a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Safety and Risk Professional, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective safety procedures, conducting regular risk assessments, and delivering training programs to enhance staff awareness.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Safety Procedures: Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain comprehensive safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments across departments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training programs to hotel teams on safety procedures, emergency response, and crisis management.
  • Incident Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, drills, and corrective actions.
  • Crisis Management: Support the Crisis Management Plan and facilitate regular drills to ensure preparedness.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality or facilities management industry.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: In-depth knowledge of local safety regulations and international standards (OSHA/NEBOSH certification is highly desirable).
  • Communication and Training Skills: Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Pressure Management and Multitasking: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
