Senior Auditor Role

As a senior auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reviews. Your expertise will be essential in mentoring new team members, monitoring budgets, and providing in-depth analytical reviews of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits for medium and small clients, and provide assistance with large client audits as a semi-senior.
  • Mentor Assistant, Associate, and trainees, while also assisting with office orientation.
  • Be involved in planning and strategy development for audits.
  • Monitor engagement budgets to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports including annual financial statements, management letters, and key features memoranda.
  • Clear review notes raised by job-in-charge and managers.
ProfileEducation Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification.
  • ACCA - Completed minimum 9 papers (F1-F9).
  • CPA – Complete 2 papers.
  • ICAEW – Complete Professional Stage.
Work Experience Requirements
  • 2-3 years postgraduate experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Arabic language skills would be an asset.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Proactive and independent individual able to initiate tasks independently.
  • Researching skills - identifies, documents, and shares knowledge useful to others.
  • Excellent analytical skills - identifies ways to analyze information quickly and efficiently.
  • Proficient problem solver - suggests innovative and creative solutions to problems.
