Financial Management Position

We are seeking an experienced financial management professional to oversee our accounting operations. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Financial Reporting Skills: Strong understanding of financial reporting principles.
  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask effectively.
