Job Title: Store Leader

Job Description:

The store leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers. Key responsibilities include maintaining store standards, achieving financial targets, and relaying feedback to relevant team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain store shrinkage below 0.2% of the cost of sale.
Operational Excellence:
  • Conduct regular audits of financial and stock performance.
  • Update, track, and communicate the store dashboard regularly.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards in the store.
  • Manage employee records (leave management, passport, performance history, roster management).
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, monitor KPIs, and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Host regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate regularly with higher management, providing updates on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement action plans based on performance metrics to drive results.
  • Ensure back-store operation and replenishment of merchandise are maintained.
  • Implement security measures to prevent theft and ensure customer and employee safety.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Monitor and manage store expenses, budgets, and financial goals.
Customer Experience:
  • Drive the sales team to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
  • Maintain relationships with mall management.
  • Effectively communicate with the office team regarding store activities.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, striving to exceed expectations.
  • Manage employee performance and conduct.
Personal Development:
  • Constantly upgrade skills of self and team, creating a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Identify learning gaps and create processes to address them.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing product knowledge sessions.

Requirements: The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of progressive experience in customer-centric roles with strong leadership, management, and problem-solving skills. Proven success in enhancing customer engagement and achieving sales targets is essential. A bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
