Senior Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to play a pivotal role in our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing electrical engineering activities and processes, leveraging their expertise to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply electrical engineering principles and standards to design and develop solutions.
  • Review and validate engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations.
  • Evaluate and analyze contractor reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Participate in engineering reviews and meetings, contributing to the development of project plans and strategies.
  • Coordinate the preparation and recording of engineering reviews, documenting key findings and recommendations.
  • Follow up on turnover of electrical engineering documents, ensuring seamless handovers and minimizing disruptions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to select and procure equipment, ensuring optimal solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Attend workshops and site inspections, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to design specifications and project standards.
  • Identify gaps in existing practices and tools, developing new practices or toolkit items that enhance company capabilities.
  • Report any safety breaches to supervision/management, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Participate in pre- and post-contract award discussions with Asset Owners, assessing and defining user requirements.
  • Actively promote company health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures, ensuring personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
  • Be responsible for the coordination, execution, and progress of electrical engineering design, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and economy.
  • Ensure adherence to company Safety and Quality control procedures, maintaining a high standard of safety in all design work.
