Hotel Security Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Security Leader to oversee the safety and security of our guests, employees, and hotel assets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective security protocols, as well as excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Safety Protocols: Create and implement comprehensive safety plans to safeguard guests, employees, and property.
  • Liaise with Local Authorities: Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Design Emergency Response Procedures: Develop emergency response plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
  • Oversee Security Systems: Manage the installation and setup of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Recruit and Train Security Team: Hire, train, and manage a team of security professionals to ensure readiness for the hotel's opening.
  • Assist in SOP Development: Support the development of departmental standard operating procedures and training materials.
  • Collaborate with Contractors: Work closely with contractors and project teams to ensure site safety during pre-opening.
Operational Phase:
  • Monitor and Ensure Safety: Continuously monitor the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel assets.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential threats and implement proactive strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify adherence to internal policies and local regulations.
  • Coordinate Security Coverage: Arrange security personnel for VIP visits, events, and high-profile guests.
  • Manage Incident Reports: Handle incident reports, investigations, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain Coordination with Emergency Services: Foster close relationships with local emergency services and government agencies.
  • Conduct Regular Audits: Perform regular audits and training sessions to ensure preparedness.
Qualifications:
  • Nationality: Omani (as per localization requirements)
  • Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in hotel security management or related field, preferably in a pre-opening or international hotel environment.
  • Local Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of local Omani security laws and regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and crisis management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Language Skills: Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Certifications: Certified in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Emergency Response (preferred).
