About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team as an HSE Advisor. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Familiarize with OQ and OPAL HSE procedures and requirements to ensure compliance. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards on-site and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of HSE statistics, tracking progress and performance metrics. Submit weekly and monthly HSE performance measurement reports to the HSE Manager and relevant authorities.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to site members on various aspects of health, safety, and environment. Organize and conduct safety training sessions for all site personnel.
  • Audit and Inspection: Conduct frequent site visits for auditing, inspection, training, and advising. Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents/incidents, near misses, first aid cases, and follow-up reports, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in HSE roles, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
