Physiotherapy Professional

About the Role:

This position involves providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients, including assessments, examinations, and treatment plans. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in managing patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and examinations to determine patients' needs for physiotherapy intervention.
  • Evaluate examination results to make clinical judgments, formulate diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans.
  • Implement, treat, re-evaluate, and progress patient care to maximize rehabilitation potential.
  • Determine outcomes of interventions and treatments.
  • Makes recommendations for self-management.
  • Manage an individual caseload of patients effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation, records, and statistical information to reflect care provided and meet professional standards.
  • Communicate and collaborate with relevant healthcare disciplines to ensure effective care delivery and promote multidisciplinary teamwork.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Participate in departmental Personal Development and Performance Review systems to foster personal and service improvement.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise junior staff to maximize efficiency and ensure quality care.
  • Perform patient triaging based on needs and insurance requirements.
  • Address insurance-related queries or escalate them to a senior team member.
  • Engage in quality improvement and safety activities within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical skills and experience in managing patient care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of medical terminology and concepts.
