The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based practice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and examinations to determine patients' needs for physiotherapy intervention
  • Evaluating examination results to make clinical judgments, formulate diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans
  • Implementing, treating, re-evaluating, and progressing patient care to maximize rehabilitation potential
  • Determining outcomes of interventions and treatments
  • Making recommendations for self-management
  • Managing an individual caseload of patients effectively and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate patient documentation, records, and statistical information to reflect care provided and meet professional standards
  • Communicating and collaborating with relevant healthcare disciplines to ensure effective care delivery and promote multidisciplinary teamwork

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be responsible for administrative tasks such as:

  • Participating in departmental Personal Development and Performance Review systems to foster personal and service improvement
  • Delegating tasks and supervising junior staff to maximize efficiency and ensure quality care
  • Performing patient triaging based on needs and insurance requirements
  • Addressing insurance-related queries or escalating them to senior management
  • Engaging in quality improvement and safety activities within the organization
