Purchasing Department Overview:

The Purchasing Department is responsible for procuring goods, services, and supplies required by the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to lead the department and drive strategic procurement excellence.

About the Role:

  • Manage the procurement of goods, services, and supplies, ensuring efficient operations and optimal resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate favourable terms, and assess vendor performance.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial reporting and regulations, including but not limited to financial reports, costs, consumption, and purchasing information.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their offerings, and select the most suitable vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness, and address any issues.
  • Create and oversee the purchasing department budget, optimizing procurement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
