Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Production Coordinator to join our team at Singer Vehicle Design. As a key member of our Material Management department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process.

As an Automotive Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring production milestones in coordination with Master Scheduling and Operations. This includes creating production schedules to achieve production goals, providing clear communication and feedback to internal stakeholders regarding production status, and ensuring materials, tooling, and equipment are released and available to meet production schedule.

You will also facilitate the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long-term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP. Additionally, you will perform escalated expediting when required to ensure on-time delivery of material, prioritize work orders and actions to ensure deadlines and milestones are met, and identify critical material deliveries and ensure program requirements are prioritized through the supply chain as well as internal efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in production control and/or scheduling, as well as strong computer skills, proficient in the full suite of MS Office, ERP/MRP systems. You should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to others.
