Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular training sessions on guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, upselling, etc., in line with departmental SOPs.
  • Report equipment failures and maintenance issues to the Maintenance Department.
  • Participate in training and development schemes as recommended by senior management.
  • Ensure proper appearance and grooming of staff.
  • Welcome guests and manage seating, including taking over if the hostess is unavailable.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with patrons to ensure their well-being.
  • Familiarize with all menus, promotions, and relevant outlet information (product knowledge).
  • Contribute to maintaining the outlet's database of regular guests.
  • Report cleanliness and maintenance issues promptly.
  • Handle guest complaints directly or escalate to the supervisor.
  • Prepare mise en place for service according to daily requirements.
  • Manage requisitions for store items and ensure accurate delivery of goods.
  • Attend departmental meetings and conduct briefings, fostering open communication.
  • Be knowledgeable about the outlet's menu and promotional activities.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage management.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
