IT Systems Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled IT systems expert to oversee all technology operations within our hotel.

This is a unique opportunity to join a pre-opening team and shape the hotel's culture and guest experience from day one.

About the Role
  • As an IT systems expert, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the hotel's hardware, software, networks, and data security, ensuring seamless technology operations that support guest services, hotel operations, and staff productivity.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hotel systems such as property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS), internet access, telecommunication systems, security systems, and office applications.

You will oversee the daily operation of these systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently and securely with minimal downtime.

Additionally, you will manage IT projects, including new system implementations, upgrades, and integrations, provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to all hotel departments, and monitor network performance and maintain firewalls, VPNs, backups, and disaster recovery systems.

It is essential that you maintain data privacy and security in compliance with local regulations and hotel policies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS (e.g., Opera, OnQ, Protel), POS, VoIP, and CCTV.
  • Experience managing networks, servers, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts as needed.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus.
