Chief Technology Officer

The ideal candidate will oversee all IT systems and infrastructure within the hotel, ensuring seamless technology operations that support guest services, hotel operations, and staff productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operation of hotel's IT systems, including property management systems, point of sale, internet access, telecommunication systems, security systems, and office applications.
  • Evaluate and implement efficient and secure technology solutions with minimal downtime.
  • Manage IT projects, including new system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to all hotel departments.
  • Monitor network performance and maintain firewalls, VPNs, backups, and disaster recovery systems.
  • Ensure data privacy and security in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with corporate IT, vendors, and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Develop training programs for staff on IT policies, procedures, and new systems as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess potential benefits for the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, VoIP, and CCTV.
  • Experience managing networks, servers, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts as needed.
